Service features of Physio Center

We propose optimal rehabilitation programs based on the situations and goals of individual users, including health problems due to illness or injury, body pain in daily life, and concerns about physical changes associated with childbirth.
We also provide rehabilitation at home and guidance on how to live daily life to continuously improve the quality of life.

Subjects

For individuals with paralysis following a cerebrovascular accident (stroke):

We offer personalized training programs tailored to each individual's condition and preferences. These programs aim to improve physical function on the affected side—especially in the upper limbs, walking, and other movements—as well as to address reduced physical fitness due to inactivity following the onset of paralysis, or to help maintain current fitness levels.

For individuals seeking to prevent recurrence after heart disease:

We provide personalized programs for those recovering from heart surgery or living with chronic heart failure, aiming to improve cardiac function and reduce daily symptoms such as shortness of breath. To help maintain and enhance physical fitness—and to prevent recurrence—we also offer customized lifestyle improvement plans tailored to each individual.

For individuals seeking prenatal and postpartum conditioning:

We offer personalized training programs based on individual functional assessments for those experiencing urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, or lower back discomfort during or after pregnancy. Our programs aim to prevent and alleviate pain or discomfort around the pelvis and lower back, helping you feel more comfortable and confident in your daily activities, including clothing choices and going out.

For individuals experiencing urinary incontinence or pelvic organ prolapse (Women's Health):

We provide personalized training programs based on individual functional assessments to address urinary incontinence and pelvic floor issues, particularly during and after menopause. Our approach helps reduce concerns related to clothing choices, activities outside the home, and access to restrooms—allowing you to live more comfortably and confidently, without being limited by pain or discomfort.

For individuals experiencing urinary incontinence after prostate surgery (Men's Health):

We offer specialized pelvic floor muscle training and exercise guidance for those dealing with urinary incontinence or pain. Our goal is to help you regain comfort and confidence in daily life through targeted, supportive movement programs.

For individuals experiencing joint stiffness or pain after surgery:

We provide personalized training programs for those experiencing pain, limited mobility, or stiffness in the affected areas following surgery. Our approach aims to improve movement and function while preventing secondary issues such as back or joint pain caused by scar tissue or adhesions around the surgical site.

For individuals with osteoarthritis:

We provide exercise guidance to help reduce the strain on affected joints, aiming to prevent the progression of symptoms and support a more active and comfortable lifestyle for those experiencing pain due to joint degeneration.

For individuals seeking to prevent or improve lifestyle-related diseases:

We offer exercise programs using our in-clinic equipment for those who have been advised to make lifestyle or exercise changes following a health checkup. By developing regular exercise habits, we aim to help you build a more metabolically active body and improve your mobility without issues in your legs or lower back.

Custam insoles

Using the detailed information gathered from our assessment, we craft insoles that are perfectly tailored to your unique needs. These insoles are designed to correct foot alignment, improve weight distribution, and alleviate stress on your joints, leading to improved movement and reduced discomfort.
Session Duration: 120 minutes
Cost: JPY 39,800 (approximately USD 270)

Scoliosis

We provide scoliosis treatment centered around Schroth scoliosis therapy, along with appropriate core muscle training, stretching, and self-exercise guidance.

The Schroth method focuses on improving posture and preventing progression of scoliosis. It helps patients and clients understand their own spinal curvature from an anatomical perspective, and learn exercises tailored to their specific condition. The ultimate goal is to "understand oneself and become better."

Exercises in the Schroth method are not limited to addressing lateral spinal curvature (side bending), but also take into account axial rotation (twisting). Movements are guided based on a three-dimensional understanding of each individual's scoliosis pattern.

Session Duration: Initial session 90 minutes, from second session 45min
JPY25,300 (approximately USD 170-180)
Cost: Initial session JPY25,300 (approximately USD 170-180)
From second session JPY 11,000

User reviews

I visited the facility due to urinary incontinence after childbirth. Before visiting the facility, the symptoms were severe, and I thought about what would happen if they did not improve. My posture, body movement, and muscle movement were carefully checked, and eventually I was able to feel my muscle movements, which led to improvement of the symptoms. It was really good to visit Physio Center. [Female, 40s]

It is helpful that the university hospital has this kind of private rehabilitation training space. The private room had an open atmosphere, and I could do exercises without worrying about the surroundings.
The group exercise space was luxurious with a full set of exercise equipment, and I was able to receive thorough training. [Female, 50s]

I was injured during a sports activity and underwent surgery. Subsequently I visited Physio Center following a referral from a doctor. I was provided advice on the condition of the affected area and the problems in using the whole body, and I also received guidance on how to improve movements, which enabled smooth rehabilitation after surgery.
It was very helpful for me to find challenges for returning to the competition and to tackle them together with my staff members. [Male, 30s]

I had pain due to hip osteoarthritis and started to use the facility through the introduction of an acquaintance. After several rehabilitation sessions, the pain was alleviated and I had less difficulty in going out.
It is also very helpful that I can check the training menu at home regularly. [Male, 50s]
